Woo to bring Clancy book to screen
'Face/Off' director John Woo is to bring Tom Clancy's book 'Rainbow Six' to the big screen.
Variety says that the film tells the story of a CIA agent, John Clark, who leaves the intelligence service to join a multinational corporation that fights terrorism.
Clancy's famous character, Jack Ryan, has been the hero of four films: 'The Hunt for Red October', 'Patriot Games', 'Clear and Present Danger' and 'The Sum of All Fears'.
Woo's last film in Irish cinemas was the Ben Affleck and Uma Thurman-starring 'Paycheck'.
