Award-winning Irish poets for new book

Seamus Heaney
Nobel Prize-winner Seamus Heaney and Pulitzer Prize-winner Paul Muldoon are just two of the poets in a new book of Irish poetry.

Published by O'Brien Press, the book is called 'Something Beginning with P ' and is a collection of newly commissioned poetry for young readers written exclusively by Irish poets.

The book includes previously unpublished poems from internationally acclaimed poets such as Thomas Kinsella, John Montague, Maeve McGuckian, Brendan Kennelly and Rita Ann Higgins alongside as poems from some new Irish voices.

The book was edited by Seamus Cashman and illustrated by Irish artists Alan Clarke and Corrina Askin.
