New Irish creative writing pages launched

The Western Writers' Centre (Ionad Scríbhneoirí Chaitlín Maude) in Galway are set to launch two new web pages where writers can publish their prose and poetry. One is 'The Poetry Mill' and the other is 'The Story Barn'.

"This is a great opportunity for writers of all levels to publish their prose and poetry on the Web," said Fred Johnston, the Centre's Manager. "We're open to long and short poems, extracts from novels as well as short stories. Submitted work should contain a 'phone-number and address. The service is free. We intend to publish in English, Irish and French."

It is intended that the new pages will act as tasters of new work for publishers as well as anyone interested in Creative Writing.

For more details contact the Western Writers' Centre on 00 353 91 533595.

Submissions can be sent to writersgalway@eircom.net
