Richard and Judy Summer Reading Announced
Following the success of Richard and Judy's Book Club, Channel 4 is continuing the trend with a new Summer Reading selection, to be launched on the Richard and Judy show on the 9th of June. Six different books will be featured in the programme with one novel discussed in detail by celebrities and literary commentators. Viewers and readers will have a chance to vote for their favourite online.
With the Summer Reading selection, the emphasis will be on enjoyable holiday paperbacks and on introducing new authors for readers to enjoy on their travels. The programme is even set to feature interviews with holidaying readers testing out the books on location!
The six selected books have just been announced they are:
Gathering Light by Jennifer Donnelly
Want to Play? by P.J. Tracy
Mermaid and the Drunks by Ben Richards
Hunting Unicorns by Bella Pollen
Ps, I Love You by Cecelia Ahern
Liars and Saints by Maile Meloy
