22/03/2004 Amis' London Fields to hit big screen
Canadian director David Cronenberg is bringing Martin Amis' acclaimed book 'London Fields' to the big screen.
Variety reports that the script has been co-written by Roberta Hanley and Amis.
'London Fields' tells the story of a psychic who senses she is to be murdered by one of two men she meets in a London pub.
It is reported that casting will soon begin on the film.
Cronenberg's last film, 'Spider', was an adaptation of the Patrick McGrath novel, starring Ralph Fiennes.
