Bacon, Firth in Somebody Loves You

Kevin Bacon and Colin Firth have signed up for Atom Egoyan's new film, Somebody Loves You.

According to Variety, Somebody Loves You has been adapted by Egoyan from Rupert Holmes' best-selling novel Where the Truth Lies.

Holmes, an award-winning Broadway playwright and composer, set his debut novel in the world of show business.

It purports to be the account of an accomplished young female journalist who has been commissioned to write a book about a celebrated comedy team from the 1960s.

At the height of their career the duo broke up after a dead girl was found in their hotel room.

The film is due to start shooting on 30 August on location in Toronto, Los Angeles and London.
