Elvis Costello signs two-book deal
Elvis Costello has signed a two book deal with publisher Simon & Schuster.
Billboard reports that the first is described by the publisher as: "a series of intimate narrative chapters taking their cue from the styles, themes and characters found in a number of Costello's lyrics."
The as-yet-untitled book is due out in autumn 2005.
The second book is titled 'How to Play the Guitar, Sing Loudly and Impress Girls...or Boys' and is described as "a work of comic philosophy".
No release date has been set for the second book.
