Enduring Love film opens

Enduring Love
A film based on Ian MacEwan's novel Enduring Love opens today in cinemas in the UK and Ireland.

Daniel Craig stars as Joe, the philosophy lecturer whose life is changed forever after witnessing a Balloon accident. He and his girlfriend Claire (Samantha Morton) meet Jed (Rhys Ifans) at the accident and he becomes involved in their lives in a way neither anticipates..

It is directed by Roger Michell and the screenplay is by Joe Penhall.

Another of Ian McEwan's books, The Cement Garden, has previously been made into a film.
