Kingsley Fagin in Polanski's Twist

Oscar winner Ben Kingsley is to play Fagin in Roman Polanski's adaptation of 'Oliver Twist'.

Variety reports that 10-year-old English actor Barney Clark will play the lead role, with Jamie Foreman as Bill Sykes and Frank Finlay as Mr Brownlow.

The film's four-month shoot begins on 12 July in Prague.

Many of the key personnel from Polanski's Oscar-winning 'The Pianist' are working on the movie.
