The Irish Writers' Centre continues its In The Open temporary residence in Temple Bar Square with a group of writers reading there this Wednesday, 28 July.
This event will feature Irish actor Tom Jordan, best known to the Irish public as Charlie Kelly in 'Fair City'; US poet John Menaghan, winner of an Academy of American Poets prize; and members of the Ballymun Writers' Group and The Trinity Writers' Group, who will present prose and poetry with an urban theme.
In the Open continues throughout the summer on the last Wednesdays of August and September, from 6.30pm to 7.30pm, with a diverse and eclectic programme of readings curated by The Irish Writers' Centre.
On 25 August, well known American poet Aidan Rooney will be in Ireland to read for In The Open and 29 September, the final performance in this unusual series, features Bill Tinley and John O'Donnell.
