29/06/2004 Clinton memoirs sets sales record
Former US President Bill Clinton's autobiography has become the biggest selling non-fiction debut ever.
Clinton's autobiography entitled 'My Life' has sold almost 1 million copies within a week of its release, according to publisher Alfred A Knopf.
The former president's memoirs sold 400,000 copies in the United States on the first day of its release to make it the biggest debut of a non-fiction book. International sales figures are not yet available.
The book chronicling Clinton's childhood through to his time in the White House is in its third print run.
