30/04/2004 Dillon and Tomei for Bukowski film
Matt Dillon and Oscar winner Marisa Tomei are to star in an adaptation of Charles Bukowski's acclaimed book 'Factotum'.
Production Weekly reports that the film will mark the English-language debut of Norwegian director Bent Hamer.
Shooting on the film is due to begin in Minneapolis in June.
First published in 1975, 'Factotum' follows Bukowski's alter ego Henry Chinaski on his journeys through the underbelly of American life.
Mickey Rourke played Chinaski in the 1987 film 'Barfly'.
