Depp to produce Hornby adaptation
Johnny Depp is reported to be the producer of adaptation of Nick Hornby's new book A long Way Down.
Variety has reported that Depp will share production duties with Graham King, who has produced, Traffic and The Aviator and David Heyman who produced the Harry Potter Films.
Hornby's book tells the story of four people who meet on New Year's Eve and form a surrogate family to help themselves get through the holiday period.
Hornby has previously enjoyed cinema success with adaptations of his books, Fever Pitch, High Fidelity and About a Boy.
A Long Way Down was published this week.
