Pinter admitted to hospital
British playwright Harold Pinter, winner of this year's Nobel Prize for
Literature, has been taken to a hospital in London, according to his agent,
Judy Daish.
"He hasn't been very well for a while. He is back in hospital," she added.
The 75-year-old was forbidden to attend this evening's award ceremony in
Sweden due to poor health.
Pinter, however, recorded the traditional laureate's lecture on Sunday and
it will be screened at the Swedish Academy today at 5.30pm CET.
It will be available in video and text format on the Nobel Prize website at
the same time.
