Harry Potter pre-orders top 100,000
Internet retailer Amazon has revealed that it has already clocked up 100,000 pre-orders for the next book in the Harry Potter series written by JK Rowling.
The book, entitled Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince shot to the top of Amazon's chart a day after its release was announced. The fifth book in the series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is Amazon's biggest-selling book ever with pre-orders reaching 420,000.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will be published on July 16th.
