Manager of Hotel Rwanda to write autobiography

Paul Rusesabagina
The hotel manager whose story was told in the recent film Hotel Rwanda has decided to write his autorbiography.

Paul Rusesabagina has sold the North American rights for the book to Viking Penguin, confirmed agent Jill Kneerim. "I think he'll certainly have a lot to tell; the genocide took 100 days and the film took two hours," Kneerim said. "There's so much to be said about the massacres and his own personal story."

Penguin secured the rights after a 28 hour bidding process between eight publishers.

Don Cheadle played the part of Rusesabagina in the Oscar-nominated movie 'Hotel Rwanda'.

Rusesabagina, who was the manager of a luxury hotel in Rwanda, played a major part in saving the lives of over 1,200 people during the 1994 genocide.
