Stars linked to Elmore Leonard adaptation
Viggo Mortensen, Diane Lane, Mickey Rourke and Justin Timberlake have been rumoured to be in the cast for the film adaptation of Elmore Leonard's book Killshot.
The thriller, from one of America's best known crime writers, follows a woman and her husband who become the targets of a pair of killers after stumbling upon an extortion plot.
According to Variety, the film will be directed by John Madden, who previously helmed Captain Corelli's Mandolin and Shakespeare in Love.
Lawrence Bender (Pulp Fiction) and Richard Gladstein will produce the movie, which will be released under the Quentin Tarantino Presents banner.
