50 Cent to have own book imprint
Rapper 50 Cent is to have his own book imprint, G-Unit Books.
According to the Hollywood Reporter the deal involves the publisher of 50 Cent's memoir From Pieces to Weight, MTV/Pocket Books.
G-Unit Books will publish a number of books which have been described as street fiction, in the vein of authors Donald Goines and Iceberg Slim.
Among those set to work on books are G-Unit rappers Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo and Young Buck.
The first book will be published in 2007.
