Former Intelligence head pens book

Stella Rimington
The former head of the MI5 agency in the UK has written a novel.

Stella Rimington's debut novel is called At Risk has just been published in the US.

It deals with the war on terror and features a female heroine, Liz Carlyle.

Rimington was the first woman to head MI5, which deals with home security and espionage.

At Risk is not her first foray into writing. When she left MI5 in 1996, Rimington wrote her memoirs, Open Secret and parts of it were censored prior to publication.
