Neeson to voice Narnia's Aslan
Northern Irish actor Liam Neeson will voice Aslan the Lion in the forthcoming first installment of CS Lewis' Narnia adventures.
Brian Cox and Russell Crowe had been touted to voice the character in The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe but the film's makers announced at the weekend that Neeson would take the role.
The big screen adaptation of the CS Lewis classic, helmed by New Zealand director Andrew Adamson, is due in cinemas in December.
