23/09/2005 Ford to star in film adaptation of Swanson's Manhunt
Although James L Swanson's Manhunt: The 12-Day Chase for Lincoln's Killer has yet to be published, the film adaptation of this Civil War drama already has a star.
Harrison Ford has signed on to play Colonel Everton Conger, the man who led the search for Abraham Lincoln's assassin, John Wilkes Booth.
The non-fiction Manhunt, which sparked a bidding war among publishers when it a 50-page proposal was auctioned in early 2002, is due to be published in February
