Carey to write children's fiction
Mariah Carey is following in Madonna's footsteps by becoming a children's author.
The 35 year old singer has announced palsn to publish a series of illustrated children's books entitled the Automatic Princess.
The books are based on the stories of her own childhood experiences of being the daughter of a mixed race marriage.
The series will tell the story of a bi-racial orphan girl.
The singer's latest album The Emancipation of Mimi, is currently at No. 1 in America.
