25/04/2005 Irish authors unite for tsunami relief
Moments, a book of short stories written by Irish authors in aid of the tsunami disaster fund goes on sale today.
Some of Ireland's best-known female authors have contributed to the book.
Moments features 39 original stories from Maeve Binchy, Christine Dwyer Hickey, June Considine, Cecilia Ahern and other famous literary names.
Organisers hope the book will be the biggest charitable project in the history of Irish publishing and are aiming to raise €150,000, which will go to the victims of the tsunami, via GOAL.
