DiCaprio may star in Hemingway adaptation
Leonardo DiCaprio is said to be interested in staring as Robert Jordan in a new film version of Ernest Hemingway's classic war-time novel For Whom the Bell Tolls.
According to Variety, DiCaprio will not commit to the project until a director is tied to the film.
Hemingway's Spanish Civil War novel was previously filmed in 1944 with Gary Cooper and Ingrid Bergman starring.
