McCourt's Teacher Man big screen bound
Frank McCourt's memoir Teacher Man is being developed for the big screen.
According to Variety McCourt's book will be adapted for the screen by Ron Bass, who won a Best Original Screenplay Oscar for Rain Man.
Teacher Man chronicles McCourt's experience as a public school teacher in New York over thirty years. The film will focus on the changes in the teacher's characters over the years.
