Kylie launches children's book
Kylie Minogue launched her first children's book in London at the weekend. The Australian popstar who was diagnosed with breast cancer last year was forced to cancel the last concerts in her Showgirl tour. She is currently rehearsing for her comeback tour.
After treatment for cancer, Kylie is now in remission and plans to return to the stage in Australia in November.
Her book, Kylie: The Showgirl Princess, is about how a character called Kylie becomes a showgirl with the help of a dedicated group of friends.
Published by Puffin, the book went on sale on 21 September in Australia and Britain.
Minogue joins a number of celebrities who have penned children's books, including Madonna
