Richard & Judy reveal their summer reads
There are a total of six books on the just-released Summer Read shortlist for Channel 4's daytime Richard & Judy programme.
Selected by an eclectic panel of judges - including former Daily Mirror editor Piers Morgan, Earl Spencer, and DJ Sara Cox - each book will be reviewed for Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan by a celebrity in a sun-drenched location.
The first reviewer is TV presenter Abi Titmuss, who will review Jim Lynch's The Highest Tide on 5 July from Tunisia.
Madeley said his perfect holiday read was "one with a compelling narrative but [that] also helps you unwind and not take the hazy summer days too seriously".
Finnigan added: "Whether you are housebound or destined for sunnier shores, I'm sure you'll find these titles to be real page-turners."
All six books are guaranteed a sales increase after featuring on the programme. When Labyrinth by Kate Mosse was chosen as Richard & Judy best read of the year it became the UK's fastest-selling paperback of all time.
