Brown's Angels & Demons heads for big screen
Author Dan Brown's bestseller Angels & Demons is to be adapted for the big screen. Akiva Goldsman, the Oscar-winning screenwriter who adapted The Da Vinci Code for the big screen has been asked to produce a screenplay of Angels & Demons.
According to Variety the project is still in the early stages of development but that movie giant Sony Pictures wants The Da Vinci Code producers Brian Grazer and John Calley to return for the new movie.
No deals are in place yet for the Da Vinci Code's star Tom Hanks or director Ron Howard but they would have first refusal on the film.
The Da Vinci Code which opened worldwide last weekend has earned an estimated $224m at the box office.
