Gary Oldman to star in fifth Potter film
Despite the rumours that Gary Oldman would not be involved in the fifth Harry Potter film, The Order of the Phoenix, it has been confirmed that he has agreed a deal to once again star as Sirius Black.
According to Empire Online, the actor's manager Doug Urbanski, confirmed the news on a Gary Oldman fan site, explaining that a deal was done when producers were told that the British star had another film offer.
Warner Bros had no agreement in place for Oldman to return for the fifth film and so he was a free agent.
"The end of the story is: Gary's in it. It's a terrific script, and he's so happy to be back," added Urbanski.
