Red Letter Day by Colette Caddle  Chick Lit Irish
(Published by Poolbeg)
3 Stars

Twenty-seven-year-old Celine Moore became a widow after her husband Dermot died in a tragic accident and the people of Kilmont have supported and sympathised with her ever since. However, when they discover she has been finding comfort in the arms of local married hotshot Kevin Gilligan, they turn against her and Celine finds herself an outcast.

Unable to face her father's disappointment and her sister-in-law's rejection, Celine decides to move on. She finds a job running a second-hand boutique in Hopefield on the other side of the city and before long she has settled in and made new friends.

Nobody knows who she is in Hopefield and she is determined to keep it that way but, as is usual, her past begins to catch up on her and Celine is running out of places to hide.

This is Caddle's fourth novel and the more she writes the more she improves. A perfect read to while some time away, Red Letter Day will keep you interested until the last page. The Techie
